Basic Sprout Bag/Nut Milk Bag Instructions

For Sprouting: Soak seeds in the sprout bag in a big bowl of water. Rinse and hang the nylon sprout bag on a hook or knob, rinse often, and watch the sprouts grow! Large nuts and seeds are what is recommeded to use with the sprout bag such as sunflower seeds, garbanzos, peas, lentils, and mung beans where only a small tail is desired. For long sprouts such as wheatgrass, buckwheat greens, pea shoots, alfafa . . . it is better to use trays instead of the bag.

For Fresh Juice: Blend fruits and vegetables in the blender with a little water and then strain them through the nylon sprout bag. If you don't have a juicer yet, it's an affordable way to get started! If you have a juicer you can maximize your yield by squeezing the left over pulp through your sprout bag.

For Nut and Seed Milks: Blend soaked nuts or seeds in the blender with water and then strain them through the nylon sprout bag. Our nylon sprout bags have a super fine mesh that makes a smooth silky almond milk. Nut and seed milks are an easy way to replace cow's milk for those with dairy sensitivities.
