The kyocera ceramic slicer is a no set up mandoline slicer that is very easy and convenient to use. Save time using this rust free slicer for smooth and even slices everytime. This ceramic mandoline has 4 different cut thicknesses: 0.5mm, 1.3 mm, 2.0 mm and 3.0 mm. The 0.5mm is great for paper thin slices, the 3.0 setting is great for adding vegetables to salads for texture and nutrition. Just turn the dial on the back for the desired thickness, no need to switch out blades!

I have been using this exact kyocera ceramic slicer for years to create original and artistic creations. I use it to make the noodles in my raw lasagna recipe, to make spring roll wrappers out of cucumber and zucchini, to quickly slice vegetables such as bell peppers and celery as a garnish for soups and salads, and to make fruit tarts and dessert garnishes by using thin slices of such fruits such as persimmons and apples. The possibilities are endless! I love the fact that it has a super sharp ceramic blade that doesn't oxidize food and that it is light and easy to use. I just put it over a bowl or cutting board and I'm ready to go. To clean it I just rinse it with water and I'm done, or you can even put in the dishwasher!

Unlike food processors, the kyocera ceramic slicer allows precise control over the texture and size of every cut, producing attractive, uniform vegetable and fruit slices.
