enough to visit the small macadamia nut farm in Hawaii that
these mac nuts come from and saw for myself the drying rooms
where the temperature never reaches above the 105 degrees making
these macadamia nuts truly raw.

organic" they are grown in volcanic soil on the big island of
Hawaii using friendly, bio-organically established practices.
Rock dust is used as an amendment to the soil creating over

also eat them in my raw food trail mix (see recipe
to the left) Most macadamia nuts you get in the store are tunnel
dried at over 118 degrees and definitely not raw and are
typically stale, or rancid so this is a good opportunity to
experience the freshest, sweetest, crunchiest, macadamia
nut that Hawaii has to offer! When you
purchase them you can make this recipe:
Creamy Dill Dressing
1 young coconut water
(or 1 cup water and raw sweetener to taste)
1/2 english cucumber
1 cup mac nuts
juice from 1 lemon
1 small handful dill
1 green onion (white and green parts)
sprinkle salt to taste
pinch cayenne
Blend everything in the blender
until smooth except the dill and green part of the green onion.
Add them after everything is blended smoothly and then pulse
until the herbs are finely chopped. Serve over your favorite
salad.
