Hawaii Trips

 

This is our fruit selection that we stored at the little bed and breakfast we were staying at on the Big Island. The yellow round fruits are abiu and eggfruit. Eggfruit tastes like cheesecake when not fully ripe and when fully ripe it tastes like custard. It's an amazing fruit! 

A star fruit tree that is actually on the mauna loa macadamia nut  factory grounds. Sorry folks the mauna loa mac nuts are tunnel dried at a high temperature and not raw:)

Me devouring fresh Durian. My brother says I look like a Durian Troll.

This is now Oahu and my first trip to Hawaii. There are lots of beautiful waterfalls in Hawaii and this is one of them called Waihe'e which means water slide.

This is a lava tunnel in the Big Island. I think it was formed when there was an air bubble in the lava and then the lava cooled forming a tunnel.

Ripe Jackfruit. Jackfruit is the fruit that Juicy Fruit bubble gum tastes like. When it's ripe it should look gooey like this.

Rainbow falls. This is  picture is so beautiful we used it as a post card for our Hawaii Live event.

A Japanese Buddhist temple in Oahu. It was very serene and magical inside with hard wooden floors and a huge Buddha.

The Dole pineapple plantation. There was a maze and you used to be able to win an award if you finished it quickly enough. My partner was disappointed he didn't win.

Some sort of sand cove. I thought it was beautiful.
